Step 1. Select a nominee

  • Your nominee must either be currently enrolled or employed by the University of Melbourne in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.
  • You may nominate as many people as you like.
  • Self-nominations are not recommended. As this is a community-based award, being nominated by another individual will be favourably regarded and the judges may take into consideration how many nominations each nominee receives.

Step 2. Fill out your and your nominee’s contact details

  • This is to ensure that your nomination is legitimate and so that we can contact your nominee should they be shortlisted for an award.
  • All nominees and nominators will also be invited to attend the FEIT Spotlight Celebrations 2024, where the winners will be announced.

Step 3. Write a response about your nominee

Preparing to complete the online nomination form:

  • You will be required to answer 3 questions that detail why you think your nominee should win and what they have done to do so. In total, your response will be between 200 and 400 words and may be in the form of dot points.
  • Supporting evidence can also be submitted however, this is optional.
  • The entire process should only take up to 5-10 minutes to complete.
