Event Funding and Invoicing

Where possible, the Faculty of Engineering and IT may provide some additional financial support for your forthcoming events!

Apply for funding for an upcoming event

UMSU Affiliated clubs that are also affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and IT are eligible to apply for student club funding to support their events throughout the year.

Student clubs and societies will be responsible for providing some of their own funding along with UMSU (University Melbourne Student Union) and where possible, their sponsors. This particular grant is funded by the Student Enrichment team and should be viewed as an additional source of financial support.

Applications must be received no later than two weeks prior to the event, and preferable 3-4 weeks prior to the event. Please remember that funding is not guaranteed, and early application is recommended.

Invoicing FEIT after your event has taken place

To obtain your approved funding, you will be required to submit the online invoice submission form no later than two weeks after the event date:

You must include the following when submitting your online form:

  • Receipts to show use of funds.
  • Invoice for the total amount of funding approved by FEIT .
  • The invoice should be made out to Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) and including club ABN and account details.
  • Short report of the event.
  • Attendance list where an event included food or refreshments.
