ENGR90033 Engineering Internship

Availability
You will need 25 points of elective space in your course.
Internship Duration & Subject Timing
10-16 weeks (320-350 hours) with a single host company. Subject offered in Semester 1, Semester 2 and Summer.
Subject Assessments
Includes written reflections and reports along with oral presentations.
If you successfully complete this subject, your Engineering Practice Hurdle completion will be automatically registered. You do not need to do anything further to fulfill the requirement.
CHEN90028 Chemical Engineering Internship
If you're interested in undertaking an open-ended research project in collaboration with an industry partner from the chemical engineering sector, the CHEN90028 Chemical Engineering Internship could be a great opportunity.
You can undertake this individually or as a member of a team a designated investigative project, or a professional work experience with a suitable industry partner. This work could involve critical analysis of a topic, experimental research and/or development, theoretical modelling, process simulation and/or the solution of an industrial problem. Rigorous planning and scheduling of the project, time management, written and verbal technical communication, interpretation of results and teamwork will be required. Working off campus may also be required, depending on the opportunity.

Complete two oral presentations and a technical report.
