David Kenworthy Memorial Scholarship

Christine Kenworthy established the David Kenworthy Memorial Scholarship in memory of her husband, David, who completed a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering in 1970 and a Master of Engineering Science in 1974 at the University of Melbourne.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to be:

  • enrolled in your penultimate year (completed at least 100 points, but less than 200 points) of the Master of Chemical Engineering/ Master of Engineering (Chemical)
  • able to demonstrate financial need

Value

In 2024, one scholarship of $10,000 is available. This will be paid in biannual instalments over two years.

Selection criteria

Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:

Preference will be given to students who have moved from rural or regional Australia to pursue their tertiary studies.
