David Kenworthy Memorial Scholarship
Christine Kenworthy established the David Kenworthy Memorial Scholarship in memory of her husband, David, who completed a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering in 1970 and a Master of Engineering Science in 1974 at the University of Melbourne.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to be:
- enrolled in your penultimate year (completed at least 100 points, but less than 200 points) of the Master of Chemical Engineering/ Master of Engineering (Chemical)
- able to demonstrate financial need
Value
In 2024, one scholarship of $10,000 is available. This will be paid in biannual instalments over two years.
Selection criteria
Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Financial Need, which will be assessed via a personal statement and submission of the 2024 FEIT Student Financial Assessment form
Preference will be given to students who have moved from rural or regional Australia to pursue their tertiary studies.
