David Kenworthy Memorial Scholarship

Description

Christine Kenworthy established the David Kenworthy Memorial Scholarship in memory of her husband, David, who completed a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering in 1970 and a Master of Engineering Science in 1974 at the University of Melbourne.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to students within the Melbourne School of Engineering:

  • Who are enrolled in their penultimate year of the Master of Engineering(Chemical or Biochemical).
  • Who demonstrate financial need.
  • Preference will be given to students who have moved from rural or regional Australia to pursue their tertiary studies.

Value

One scholarship of $10,000 is available, paid in two annual instalments of $5,000.

Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • Financial need
  • Regional or rural background (Australia).
