Robert Bage Memorial Scholarship
The Robert Bage Memorial Scholarship was established by Mrs Edward Bage in memory of her son Edward Frederick Robert Bage, BCE, Lt Royal Australian Engineers, Captain, 3rd Field Company Engineers First Division AIF, who was killed at Gallipoli on 7 May 1915.
The scholarship is awarded annually to support Graduate Researchers enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:
- be enrolled in a research higher degree in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
- submit an online application consisting of a personal statement describing the research topic and how the proposed use of funds would benefit your research
Value
In 2024, a single award valued at approximately $4,200 is available.
Selection criteria
Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:
- The merit of the proposed travel or research activity
- Academic merit and the strength of your research (assessed through supporting documents like your CV, most recent progress report (where applicable), supervisor's statement of support)
- Quality of your application
- Current and prior funding opportunities
Candidates are invited to apply for funding for opportunities other than travel; however, applications for travel will take funding priority.
