A wood lathe is a machine used to form a piece of wood into the desired shape. In other words, they are used to cut, sand, drill, face, turn and deform wooden work pieces. A piece of wood is attached to a spinning arm and various tools are used to shape the piece of wood as it spins.

Pre-requisite: Wood Shop training

Duration: eLearn: 15 minutes; Face to Face: 1 hour.

Use the time over the break to use what you have learnt in your training to bring your piece to life.
