Professor Thas Nirmalathas as Dean provides strategic, academic and operational leadership for the Faculty, advancing its education and research priorities. As a distinguished professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, he is deeply engaged in cutting-edge research. He has held several academic leadership positions at the University including co-founding the Melbourne Accelerator Program, the first university-aligned Australian startup accelerator.
Mr Brendon Matthews
Brendon Matthews provides strategic leadership across faculty professional services, business planning and operations, with a proven track record of driving organisational transformation and sustainable growth. With over a decade of senior leadership experience across higher education and the private sector, Brendon brings expertise in leading change and driving growth initiatives.

Professor Shanika Karunasekera is a computer scientist and Deputy Dean Academic of the Faculty. In this role, she oversees academic programs and initiatives, with research expertise in real time-analytics, data stream mining and distributed computing.
Prof Stan Skafidas
Professor Stan Skafidas is a leading researcher in nanoelectronics and wireless communications. As Deputy Dean (Engagement), he is responsible for strengthening industry, community and government partnerships in the Faculty.
Prof Ben Rubinstein
Professor Ben Rubinstein is a leading researcher in artificial intelligence safety, with expertise in machine learning, security and privacy. As Deputy Dean (Research), he drives the Faculty’s research strategy and fosters research excellence across Engineering and Information Technology.
