Professor Peter Lee

Professor Peter Lee is Deputy Head of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on biomechanics of the human body, organs, tissues and cells, contributing to a wide range of interdisciplinary research fields in biomedical engineering.

Peter leads the ARC Training Centre for Medical Implant Technologies (CMIT) and is Centre Director of the Joint Resource Training Centre (JRTC). Professor Lee is well-known in the defence environment, and has completed several major projects with the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG).
