Next-Generation Sustainability: Advancing the Future with Geospatial Intelligence – Global Event to Be Held in Melbourne
Organised by the United Nations Global Geospatial Knowledge and Innovation Centre (UN-GGKIC) in collaboration with the Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration (CSDILA) and CASM, the event will be hosted at Crown Towers, Melbourne.
A major international event, Next-Generation Sustainability: Advancing the Future with Geospatial Intelligence, will take place from April 1-3, 2025, bringing together global leaders, experts, and policymakers to explore the transformative role of geospatial intelligence in sustainable development.
Geospatial Leadership Training & Global Forum
The event will feature:
- April 1-2 – Geospatial Leadership Training
A specialised program led by CSDILA, CASM, and UN-GGIM experts, focusing on leadership development in geospatial intelligence and land administration. - April 3 – Global Forum: "Empowering Sustainable Development with Geospatial Intelligence"
Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and academics to address key challenges such as land access for climate action and the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event is expected to attract participants from FIG WW and a global audience, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options.
