Critical infrastructure

Enhancing the construction, operation, maintenance and protection of critical infrastructure.

We help to assess the ongoing needs of infrastructure critical to our society, such as power, water and telecommunications systems. We develop risk management plans to protect infrastructure from both external and internal threats, for example the impacts of an earthquake versus the deterioration of construction materials.

Our geotechnical expertise provides reliable solutions to support safe and sustainable engineering in the ocean. We evaluate and develop strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change, such as extreme weather events and ocean surges.

Reflecting global reliance on satellite communications for mapping and navigation – from flight paths to farm crops – we identify and counter potential interference with these essential systems.
