The following training and events for this program will take place in person on the University of Melbourne campus. We ask that you make yourself available for the three in-person events plus the mentoring period to make the most of this program.

Intercultural Training for Mentors

Formal training on intercultural concepts to help Mentors build conscious awareness of these topics prior to commencing their mentoring for this program.

Mentor-Mentee Introductions

Please arrive from 5:30 for registration and dinner.

An opportunity to meet your mentees and fellow mentors for the first time.

Location: The Studio, Ground Floor, Melbourne Connect Building, Parkville Campus (700 Swanston Street)

Nine week period 12 August - 12 October

By mutual agreement within mentoring group

Mentoring period

Mentor-Mentee groups will meet during this period. This is intended to largely happen online, though individual groups are welcome to choose whatever method and frequency best suits the group.

Mentors and mentees will interact online using a mutually-agreed platform to continue the mentoring experience.

Celebration and Networking Evening

A final in-person catch up with your group, plus an opportunity to network with other mentors, students and University staff.
