Exhibiting the future of STEM at Endeavour
Earlier this week, final year Masters students from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology demonstrated their knowledge and creative thinking at the Semester 2 Endeavour Exhibition.
With over 100 projects on display, this Exhibition unveiled cutting-edge projects, showcasing the innovation and talent that will shape tomorrow’s engineering and IT landscapes.

Covering a variety of topics from brain signals to breast cancer, flood disaster relief and quantum computing, students have spent the last year researching innovative solutions to real world challenges.
The Exhibition offers community members, industry leaders and government representatives a chance to meet the next generation of innovators. These projects, backed by months of research, have the potential to reach the market in the coming years.

Master of Mechatronics Engineering student Holly Farmer said discussing her project with a diverse audience offered valuable perspective, as their interests varied depending on their background.
Holly and her team developed a compact stroke rehabilitation device to provide stroke patients with accessible technology that helps them regain a full range of motion.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the learning process of Endeavour. This was an opportunity for me to build knowledge of engineering solutions and then share it with my peers,” Holly said.
“It's not about your project working perfectly the whole day but trying to talk about your project and communicate engineering to a wide range of people.”
Reflecting on her Endeavour journey, Holly believes she’s learned valuable teamwork skills.
“Endeavour helps you build relationships not only with your team but also within the University and with external partners, which is crucial for future success in the workforce,” Holly said.
