Introducing the 10 Tonne Project (Generating agtech capacity to increase high yielding dried grape production)

Dried Fruits Australia recently kicked off its new 10 Tonne Project. Funded by the Australian Government under the Murray–Darling Basin Economic Development Program, the three-year project encompasses a number of elements, including: – Four “proof of concept” sites at Merbein, Red Cliffs and Colignan to demonstrate how to consistently achieve 10 tonnes per hectare across a range of vineyard sizes and production years – Grower technology training sessions demonstrating the use of pest and disease modelling, NDVI imagery and soil moisture monitoring.
