Future Engineer Prize

The Future Engineer Prize has been made possible by a group of Alumni from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology who decided that they wanted to support students facing disadvantage and currently undertaking a Masters coursework degree in FEIT.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to be:

  • commencing your second year of study (having completed at least 100 points not including advanced standing) of a professional Masters course within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.

Value

In 2023, one award valued at $5,000 is available.

Selection criteria

Applications will be considered based on the following:

  • The degree of disadvantage as per the Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) category ranking
  • Strength of a personal statement outlining your study and career aspirations and the impact the award would have.

Preference will be given to students who are refugees or the first in their immediate  family (parents, grandparents or siblings) to attend university. If this applies to you, you will be required to submit a statutory declaration stating you meet this criterion.
