What's involved

As a Student Ambassador, we encourage you to share your experiences and help prospective and new students grasp their potential. This may involve participating in events such as speaker panels, contributing to video productions, and becoming an influencer on our social media channels. Your role as a Student Ambassador includes assisting with:

  • Open Day
  • Orientation Week
  • Creating student profiles (including photographs) for use in web and print advertising
  • Graduate in-person and virtual events
  • Student life events for current students to enhance their experience and keep them connected throughout their studies

Ambassadors play a crucial role in communicating their experiences to prospective students, sharing insights into why they chose their course, what to expect during studies, how to transition into life at Melbourne, and how to best prepare for graduate study. Similarly, ambassadors also play an active part in events organised and delivered by FEIT's Student Enrichment and Belonging team focusing on enhancing the experience of our current students.
