Professional Skills Series Highlights

The Professional Skills Series is specifically designed for FEIT Master’s by Coursework students. The workshops are delivered during the first 6 weeks of each semester, with a total of 8 – 10 workshops offered each year.
Presenters are alumni and industry professionals, and they explore their topics in the context of Engineering & IT practice.
The workshops on offer for 2026 so far include:
- Networking & LinkedIn for Career Fairs & Interviews
- Adaptive Leadership: Building Alliances to Get Things Done
- Professional Standards, Leadership & Trust in Engineering & IT
- Presentation Skills for Engineering & IT Students: Communicating Technical Ideas with Confidence
- Stakeholder Management for Engineering & IT Students
- Risk Management for Engineering & IT Students
Additional workshops will continue to be added, up to a total of 8 for the year.
