FEIT Student Exchange Funding and Scholarships
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology is proud to offer an incentive program to encourage graduate students in the school to take international study opportunities.
This funding is available to support exchange programs and overseas research experiences contributing towards FEIT-owned graduate degrees.
Please note that the overseas program must contribute credit to a currently-enrolled graduate program. Students taking an engineering pathway but currently enrolled into an undergraduate degree are not eligible.
Fee-paying overseas programs are not currently covered.

Eligibility criteria for FEIT Exchange Scholarship
- You have been accepted into an approved study abroad research or exchange coursework program.
- Your program must be contributing academic credit towards a graduate FEIT degree.
- You have enrolled into the placeholder subject on your study plan.

Melbourne Mobility Awards
The Melbourne Mobility Awards are offered by the University of Melbourne to assist students heading overseas on exchange and study abroad programs. Funding includes the Melbourne Global Scholars Award as well as several other options. Some of these are merit-based and allocated by WAM.
You are permitted to receive both a Melbourne Mobility Award and FEIT funding.
Ian Alexander International Scholarship
The Ian Alexander International Scholarship provides financial support to domestic students undertaking an international internship, semester-long exchange program, or an approved international research project subject credited towards the Engineering degree. OS-HELP
OS-HELP provides financial assistance to eligible students studying in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) to undertake a portion of their studies overseas. These loans help students with a range of expenses, such as airfares, accommodation and other travel expenses.
