Ada Bieber

Senior Lecturer - German & International Youth Literature and Film

Ada Bieber is Senior Lecturer for German & international youth literature and film at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany. Her research activities evolve around East German Cinema, Holocaust children’s literature for youth as well as political children’s literature and film. Ada is e.g. co-editor of a special issue on political youth literature and film in East Germany (Colloquia Germanica, 2019), and her work has appeared in The Lion and the Unicorn, Children’s Literature, and Limbus: Australian Yearbook of German Literary and Cultural Studies.
