During your studies at the University of Melbourne, you'll be asked to think, write and demonstrate your knowledge in new and challenging ways. You might even need to develop a whole new scientific or technical vocabulary.

If any of this sounds a little daunting, that's normal. Don't worry – you don't have to do it alone. The friendly team at Academic Skills can support you to build on your skills and study techniques. They offer a variety of resources, programs and services to help you succeed right through your degree.

Student Appointments

Book a time to meet on Zoom or request an in-person appointment. Academic Skills Advisers can go through a plan, draft or section of your writing with you, discuss study strategies, or discuss your learning needs and help you access relevant resources.
