Graduate Research Prizes
Through our prizes we are able to acknowledge the hard-work and dedication of our Graduate Researchers during their degree.
These prizes are awarded to Graduate Researchers for their thesis submissions and outstanding research contributing to their field of study. Recipients for these prizes are selected by a committee compirising of senior FEIT academics in the relevant fields.

| Dr John Patterson Prize | Awarded to the student with the best thesis in the field of thermo-fluids in the Department of Mechanical Engineering |
| Sir Louis Matheson Prize | Awarded to the student who is deemed to have produced the best research in the field of Civil Engineering |

| Chancellor's Prize for Excellence in the PhD Thesis | offered to students who have completed their degree in the previous year. Preference is given to theses that are passed without amendment. |
