ARES society membership is exclusive to University of Melbourne students, but will remain free as of Semester 1 2021. We welcome students from all degrees, as a passion for aerospace is all it takes to get involved with us!
Non-members can still attend events advertised on our social media, but membership comes with access to our vibrant Slack community, where you can engage in workshops and socialize with other passionate members.
To become a member and get involved, please direct your membership inquiry to either our social media or society email.
To be eligible to join ARES’ projects, you must be:

- Willing and able to commit significant time and effort to ARES’ projects.
Applications to the leadership teams of ARES’ flagship rocketry and rover projects are now closed, with project leadership already in place.
However, ARES is always on the lookout for capable and enthusiastic students for our project subsystem teams.
- Aerodynamics subsystem team.
- Avionics subsystem team.
