The aim of this project is to implement Singapore's Quantitative Urban Environment Simulation Tool (QUEST) into a 3D platform to support smart city planning.
About the project
The Singapore project provides support for the development of tools for 3D data analysis, visualization and data integration, as well as a customized user interface to support the modelling and simulation (M&S) requirements for smart city planning in Singapore. In this project, QUEST, developed in Singapore, is used to leverage 3D mapping data, captured by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), to be implemented on a 3D-enabled open-source geospatial platform. It also makes use of the collaborative platform developed by the Climate Change Information Service, as well as existing Building Information Models (BIM).
