Irrigation scheduling system – SWAN Systems
What it is:
SWAN Systems collects and analyses data from any type of device that is installed at a farm to provide precise recommendations for efficient crop irrigation. SWAN Systems’ predictions can be tuned to any crop, variety, growth stage, and yield or quality goals.

The SWAN dashboard simplifies irrigation decisions through analysis of irrigation, weather and satellite data. SWAN integrates the data with deep knowledge of crop water-use requirements and growth models to develop management plans that:

The system can:
- respond to daily forecasts and variable weather
- schedule irrigation times and amounts for optimum crop growth
- monitor soil moisture levels to maintain ideal conditions for canopy and fruit growth

How it works:
SWAN Systems technology integrates with existing farm sensors such as:
- weather stations
- moisture probes
- flow meters and controllers.
It considers the crop and soil characteristics of each site, water budgets, and the irrigation system to provide accurate daily recommendations.
SWAN Systems is available online via computer dashboard or a phone app and can be optimally configured as needed.
It displays a map-based overview of irrigation sites with simple summaries of plant health and alerts. Charts of forecast soil moisture and reports of budgeted water compared with usage are also available.

No installation required: SWAN runs in your web browser or a mobile app and collects data from your existing hardware.
