The partnership extended its support for ongoing research through the Sprint Research Grant program, offering additional funding to propel student projects beyond the scope of student initiatives. Sprint Research Grants were awarded twice per year to a team consisting of at least one University of Melbourne supervisor and one Telstra supervisor.
