The Dean’s Honours List for the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) is compiled annually and it comprises of the top 5% of graduate coursework students at every 100 points of post bachelor level subjects completed as part of their graduate coursework degree.
To be considered for the Faculty’s Dean’s Honours List, students must:
- have passed at least 100 points of post-bachelor level subjects (ie above level 3) to qualify for first consideration
- have passed at least another 100 points of post-bachelor level subjects before they can be considered a second or subsequent time
- have a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80 or higher for those post-bachelor level subjects
- not have previously been considered for the list at that year level
- not have failed any subjects
Based on the above criteria, a list of eligible students is compiled. From this list, students who are in the top 5% of each cohort are selected for the final FEIT Dean’s Honours List.
Students who are being included in the Dean’s Honours List will be notified by the end of May.
