A minimum requirement to be considered for the DHL is that students must have a WAM of at least 80 and no fails. If you meet this requirement, you must also rank within the top 5% of your cohort.
-
Apart from the minimum WAM requirement of 80, there is no official cut-off. However, the minimum WAM a student included in the DHL may have will vary each year depending on the top 5% WAM within each cohort.
-
The WAM used to determine students for the DHL is calculated based on your post bachelor level subjects at every 100 points. It is not your overall course WAM.

If you have not completed 100 points, unfortunately you cannot be considered for the Dean’s Honours List for that year. You will, however, be considered once you have completed your first 100 points of post bachelor level subjects. You will then be considered for subsequent times after completing the next 100 post bachelor level subjects. For example, if in Year 1 you completed 87.5 points, in Year 2 have completed a total of 175 points, and then in your final semester you have completed 200 points, you will be considered for the Dean’s Honours List following Year 2 and after your final semester.

Yes. Students are considered for the DHL after every 100 points of post bachelor level subjects. So, once you have completed your final 100 points, and provided you meet all other criteria, you can be considered for the DHL.
-
Eligibility is based on subjects completed for every 100 points of post bachelor level subjects. Regardless of which intake you commenced, you will be considered for the DHL only after you have completed 100 points of post bachelor level subjects.
