Aurora Greane

Aurora Greane completed her undergraduate degrees in biomedical engineering and violin performance at Northwestern University in the United States. During her studies, Aurora developed a passion for engineering education with a focus on diversity and equity. Before coming to the University of Melbourne for her PhD, Aurora worked as an engineer for a medical device company to understand both industry and academic perspectives as a future educator.

Aurora commenced her Graduate Research studies in 2024, supervised by Assistant Dean Craig Cowled, Susan Beetson, Associate Professor Juliana Kaya Prpic, and Professor Sally Male. Aurora's thesis work focuses on centring First Nations Australian value systems, perspectives, and Knowledges alongside engineering education and practice.
