Aurora Greane

Aurora Greane completed her undergraduate degrees in biomedical engineering and violin performance at Northwestern University in the United States. During her studies, Aurora developed a passion for engineering education with a focus on diversity and equity. Before coming to the University of Melbourne for her PhD, Aurora worked as an engineer for a medical device company with the intent of understanding both an industry perspective and an academic perspective as a future educator. Aurora commenced her Graduate Research studies in 2024, supervised by Associate Professor Juliana Kaya Prpic, Professor Sally Male, Dr Craig Cowled and Dr Susan Beetson. Her thesis work focuses on enhancing the undergraduate engineering curriculum with Indigenous sustainability engineering perspectives.
