Yige Song

Yige is a graduate researcher in data science and education, with a focus on developing novel analytical techniques and educational technologies to foster self-regulated learning skills in higher education. Besides primary research interests, he also conducts research in evolutionary game theory and has worked as a software engineer and data scientist on projects on responsible AI.

Having been a casual academic since 2022, Yige has taught undergraduate and master's-level subjects across universities, with topics spanning from programming and machine learning to information visualisation. In addition to teaching university-level subjects, Yige enjoys mentoring graduate researchers, assisting in supervising master's students, mentoring secondary school students in regional areas, and has worked as a volunteer teacher in regional China for four years.
