To study Engineering or IT at Melbourne

You can study Engineering & IT at Melbourne via a Melbourne undergraduate degree or by enrolling directly into a graduate degree.

Undergraduate pathways

Start with a Bachelor of Science, Design or Biomedicine and study and engineering or information technology major from day one.

Then you will progress to a master degree in your chosen specialization. You can also choose any of our other undergraduate degree, complete the relevant prerequisite subjects and then progress to the masters program.

If you didn’t complete the relevant subjects in high school you may be able to complete equivalent subjects through our single subject study program (CAP).

Graduate pathways

If you already have an undergraduate degree, you can explore our graduate programs in engineering and information technology Master of Engineering and advance your career with an internationally recognised 2–3 year Master of Engineering or specialised graduate qualification.

Access Melbourne

Access Melbourne is a Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) at Melbourne that can help you gain entry into an undergraduate course, even if your ATAR is below the minimum.

By submitting a Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) form via VTAC Indigenous applicants will be considered for the Access Melbourne program. Additionally you'll be automatically be considered for a range of scholarships.

Graduate Access Melbourne

Graduate Access Melbourne is a special entry access program that may help you gain entry even if your tertiary marks are below entry requirements. Additionally you'll be automatically be considered for a range of scholarships.
