Bachelor of Science (Computer and Software Systems)
Recipient of the 2025 Undergraduate Excellence in CIS Scholarship

"Coming from a small town in regional Victoria, I started university with little exposure to computer science.

Thanks to the Melbourne model, I discovered my passion for programming and creative problem-solving. With support from mentors and peers, I shifted to a Computing and Software Systems major.

This scholarship has given me confidence in my studies as I now move on to a Master of Software Engineering at the University of Melbourne."

Master of Civil Engineering
Recipient of the 2024 Mann Scholarship

" I’m very grateful to have received the Mann Scholarship, which has made a big difference to my studies and well-being over the past five months. With the financial support, I reduced my work hours and focused more on my coursework, leading to my best academic results so far, including top marks in Geotechnical Applications.

This success has boosted my confidence and shown me what I can achieve with the right support. I’ve also stayed actively involved on the committee of the Melbourne University Civil and Structural Society, giving back to the engineering community as I continue into 2025."

Master of Mechanical Engineering
Recipient of the 2024 Agilent Scholarship for Women in STEM

"This scholarship eased the financial pressure of studying abroad, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my exchange program and explore sustainable energy projects across Europe.

After returning to Australia, I was able to take on two incredible internships, one in a biomechanical lab researching shoulder replacement surgery, and another with HIP V HYPE, a firm focused on sustainable housing design.
These opportunities have expanded my skills, deepened my passion for engineering, and shaped my future career direction."
