Four exciting projects have been selected to receive FEIT Strategic Education Innovation Grants.

The FEIT Strategic Education Innovation Grants of up to $10,000 support innovative projects to improve FEIT subjects in directions aligned with the FEIT 2035 and Advancing Students and Education strategies.

The following projects were funded from 16 proposals.

  • Visualising a Threshold Concept in Rigid Body Dynamics (Stephan Oehler, Raquel de Souza, Catherine Sutton)
  • Industry-engaged Authentic Projects for Enhancing Early Engineering Pathways (Nilupa Herath Judy Too, Elisa Lumantarna, Stephan Winter, Philip Christopher, Natasha Ballis, Alan Thomas, Kenny Tan)
  • Improving student experience through enhanced feedback at scale in engineering subjects (Paul Beuchat, Chris Honig, Jillian Kenny, Madhurima Das, Shannon Rios, Matt Xavier, Shiva Balendhran, Iman Shames, Peter Cebon, Gavin Buskes)
  • Advancing Student Readiness Through a Scalable AI Companion for Pre-Class Learning in FEIT (Shuang Zhu Bharat Sundaram, Kevin Otto, Joseph Klewicki, Marcus Pandy, Christian Brandl)
