Investigating irrigation decision management with growers and other key stakeholders.

Project title:
Irrigation Decision-Making and Innovation for Perennial Horticulture (Vic Hub)

Research information & objectives:
This collaborative project brings together growers, agronomists, vendors, policy makers and researchers from four Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hubs – Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Southern NSW.

It examines the factors that influence irrigation decisions and how growers perceive the strengths and weaknesses of irrigation systems, infrastructure and innovations. By centering the knowledge and experiences of growers and those who contribute to irrigation decision-making, this project contributes to practical, appropriate and grounded understandings of drought resilient futures.
