Tickets are now available for Growing Smarter in the Mallee 2022 – an opportunity to explore the latest innovations in horticultural production.

An initiative of the Mallee Regional Innovation Centre, the two-day regional summit will showcase next-generation tools and technologies and bring together leading local and overseas experts to address the region’s opportunities and challenges.

The event will be held on 5 and 6 May at SuniTAFE Smart Farm, allowing attendees to also get hands-on experience of the latest equipment and talk to the developers at trade stalls and practical demonstrations.

“Growing Smarter in the Mallee will give not just industry, but our community the chance to share in the latest developments in automation, remote sensing, alternative energy and other innovative technologies,” MRIC CEO Rebecca Wells said.

“It’s exciting to have a rare mix of expertise for our industry panel sessions, and to have strong involvement from local industry and our partner organisations.

“The Evoke Ag dinner on the Thursday night at Willow and Ivie will provide the perfect opportunity for networking and to hear from Matthew Pryor from Tenacious Ventures about the future of the agri-food system.”

Single-day tickets are available for $30 each, while a two-day ticket is $50.
