Anders Barlow awarded for Excellence in Research Training and Development Initiatives

Double-recognition with a dynamic trio in this year's RI Excellence Awards

Anders Barlow (MCFP), alongside colleagues Chris Freelance (Melbourne Histology Platform) and Allison van de Meene (Ian Holmes Imaging Centre), received jointly the Research Training and Development Initiatives Excellence Award for their efforts over the past years in creating, delivering, and honing a series of webinars, lecturers, and hands-on workshops covering all aspects of biological imaging, from sectioning and staining, to sample mounting, to imaging by light, electron, and ion microscopies. The team were recognised specifically for their tri-platform collaboration, and continual feedback-driven refinement of their courses.
