Atomic force microscopy

The MCFP hosts three Atomic Force Microscopes. These are available to carry out a wide range of imaging and measurements.

Cypher AFM

The Cypher is currently the highest resolution AFM on the market.
MFP-3D AFM

This instrument is ideal for many applications including physics, material science, polymers, chemistry, nanolithography, bioscience, and quantitative nanoscale measurements.
