CytoFLEX Nano Installation

We are excited to announce the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences CytoFLEX Nano as the latest addition to the platform’s extensive capability

The CytoFLEX Nano is the first of its kind in Australia and extends the nanoparticle and extracellular vesicle analysis capabilities the MCFP Cytometry node can offer. The instrument is perfect for characterising particles from ~40nm to 1um in size with two side scatter and 6 fluorescence channels.

The installation of this new instrument follows a successful funding bid led by Dr Christina Cortez-Jugo (Dept Chemical Engineering, FEIT), via the University of Melbourne Research Infrastructure Investment Fund Collaborative Equipment Grants (RIIF-CEGs), and was a collaborative effort between the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and Faculty of Science.

Dr Darryl Johnson will manage this capability, reach out to find out more!
