Summary

DMTC, Synthesis Technologies (Synth), and the University of Melbourne Urban Analytics and Infrastructure Engineering (UoM) teams worked to define a collaborative body of work and researched resources supporting the development of Synth’s state-of-the-art 3D visualization tool.

The University of Melbourne researchers undertook two tasks for this project:

• Reviewed the state-of-the-art and analysed the opportunities and gaps for developing new features in the solution that Synth Maps had provided.
• Tested the ideas and developed a workflow for the implementation of new features.
